Adele Residency: Opening Night Tickets $40,000 sold in more
Tickets for the first show of Adele's rescheduled Las Vegas residency are selling for over $40,000 on some websites.
On Monday (July 25), the "Easy on Me" singer announced new dates for residency at The Colosseum in Caesar's palace.
After being forced to postpone her Weekends with the Adele Show 24 hours before opening night in January this year.
In addition to the 24 rescheduled shows, a further eight new shows were also announced, including 32 performances now in the residency.
However, according to Ticketmaster's statement, access to each presale will be limited, giving priority to fans.
Those who purchased and returned tickets with an Adele Verified Fan Presale during the past weekend, or those who were placed on a waiting list for a Verified Fan Presale.
Soon after the announcement, it was reported that opening night tickets on the resale website Stubhub were going for anywhere between $600-$41,000.
On Monday, Bloomberg reported that as of 5:30 p.m. New York time, two tickets to Adele's show on November 18 cost $41,280.
