Ashton Kutcher reflected on his wife Mila Kunis's decision not to let him into space, saying he had a "sound reasoning" to persuade him to drop the $200,000 ticket.

Nearly a decade before becoming the father of an actor and tech investor, Kutcher had given himself a ticket to space on Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic flight.

The billionaire and five of his companions traveled to space on July 11, 2021, but Kutcher was not aboard. Instead, he sold back the $200,000 ticket he had bought from Virgin Galactic for the flight.

Soon after the visit, Kutcher explained that Kunis "encouraged" him to reconsider the decision.

"When I got married and had kids, my wife basically encouraged that when we had young kids, it wasn't a smart family decision to go to space," he told Cheddar News last year.

Now, it looks like Kutcher has agreed to give up his ticket to space with his wife's argument.

In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live with guest host David Alan Grier on Thursday, the actor recalled his desires to travel to space, which Kunis had turned down.

"I was about to be on the first flight to space on Virgin Galactic," he told Grier. "I bought a ticket for it. I had a ticket for it."

"But then we had kids and [got] like, 'Do you want to be on the first flight or the 50th? he explained. Looking back, Kutcher admitted: "He had a solid argument. And yes, he left it to me.
