ANDREWES, Scotland - On July 13, 2022, ETSU alumni Adrian Maronek and Seamus Power prepare to make their Open Championship debut.
Power is grouped with Cameron Smith and Brooks Koepka. Meronq Thursday's first round begins at 6:58 a.m. ET and Friday's second round starts at 1:57 a.m. ET with Meronak paired with Haotong Lee and Marcus Armitage.
Power, who has made his debut in all four Majors this season, was tied for 27th (+4) at The Masters, while tied for ninth (-1) at the PGA Championship and the U.S. I tied for 12th (+1). open.
Power, the 2021 Barbasol champions, is coming in 30th place at the Irish Open two weeks ago and has taken five places in the top 10 this season.
Power is ranked 24th in the FedEx Cup standings and 37th in the World Golf Rankings.
Meronek has scored a lot over the past few months as he has scored a total of five Top 10 finishes in his last eight tournaments, including his first win at the Horizon Irish Open two weeks ago.
The victory marked Meronck's first career victory on the DP World Tour (formerly known as the European Tour), and he became the first Polish player to win on that tour.
Maronak, who is currently ranked No 7 on the DP World Tour rankings and 65th in the world, played nine holes with Tiger Woods at St Andrews earlier this week.
