Molly Rainford's Nan Doreen has revealed that the singer told her about being a contestant before anyone else at this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
The former BGT finalist, 21, was announced three weeks later to participate in the BBC series, but the 82-year-old admitted it was too difficult to keep a secret.
She told The Mirror: 'I was told about her going strictly in front of everyone and I had to keep it quiet, which was very hard - because I'm a gossip. I don't know how I did, but I did.'
Doreen also admitted that she watches Molly's CBBC show Nova Jones every week, despite not understanding what's going on.She admitted: 'I don't know what it's about. But if he's on television, we'll see it.
The proud grandmother must be watching strictly now. She said: 'As soon as they give me the number, I'll write them down so I can vote. Molly will take whatever they throw at her.'
The Strictly Come Dancing curse has seen many couples break up and get together over the years. But Molly recently said she'll get away with all that drama when she comes on the show this autumn.
The singer was unveiled as part of the 2022 lineup alongside names like Tony Adams, Ellie Simmonds and Matt Goss.
Speaking to The Sun, Molly spoke out about the so-called Strictly Curse and firmly kept herself out of falling for it. She insisted that she was too young for a relationship, preferring to laser focus her career.
