Olivia Wilde wins custody battle against ex Jason Sudeikis
The "Don't Worry Darling" star and director emerged victorious in a California court when a judge ruled that their two children — eight-year-old Otis and five-year-old Daisy — officially resided in the Golden State.
The 38-year-old actress claimed the 46-year-old "Ted Lasso" star — who wanted kids to call New York home — served up custody documents "most aggressively" in April, as she was speaking at Comic Con for her new film. About a panel.
In a filing, Olivia claimed that Jason - with whom she was in a relationship from 2011 to 2020 - intended to "embarrass" and "threate" her by distributing the papers in such a public setting.
Olivia - who is now romantically linked with pop singer Harry Styles, 28 - said in court documents: "Jason's actions were clearly intended to intimidate me and catch me off guard.
He could have served me with caution, but instead he chose to serve me in the most aggressive way possible.
"The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and publicly display our personal struggle is contrary to the best interests of our children.
Since Jason has made it clear that we will not be able to do this for our children outside the court system, I filed a petition for custody in Los Angeles.
He added: "The papers were prepared to establish jurisdiction over the children of Ms. Wilde and Mr. Sudeikis. He will never forgive her for being served in such an unfair way."
