The Big Breakfast 2022: When does it start, who are the presenters and how long is the Channel 4 series?
The iconic 90s show The Big Breakfast is being revived and will go live on our screens this Saturday. After the success of the one-off special in September 2021, the show is returning for a mini-series this summer.
The Big Breakfast was first broadcast from 1992 to 2002 and saw many presenters including Chris Evans, Gabby Roslin, Zoe Ball, Dennis Van Outen, Johnny Vaughn and others.
The show will feature several famous faces in pairs every week, lots of competitions and games and as Moe confesses: "It's live. Anything can happen".
Many Strictly Come Dancing fans will recognize AJ Odudu from his stint on the show in 2021. The 34-year-old television presenter is also known for hosting the spin-off Big Brother show Bit on the Side and Channel 4's The Bridge: Race. for a fortune.
Speaking about presenting the iconic programme, AJ said: I loved watching the show growing up and I know a lot of viewers did.
We obviously wanted to pay tribute to its nostalgia and really honor the show we know and love. I'm so excited for myself and Mo to put my stamp on this to really bring it forward and make it ours.
She will return to host The Big Breakfast with comedian Mo Gilligan, 34.
Many viewers may recognize Moe by his role as a judge on The Masked Singer and Dancer, but he has also performed his own chat show The Latish Show with Moe Gilligan.
The show is returning for four episodes and the first starts on Saturday, August 13. The episodes will start every Saturday at 10 AM and you will also be able to stream the show on All 4.
